Rationale for the changes>
The existing ECDL model in Poland has fulfilled the hopes we pinned on it. Due to promoting the initiative among thousands of teachers it has promulgated the knowledge of ECDL all over Poland. For ten years of harmonious growth it has brought about almost half a million of exams and over 40 thousand certificates issued.
Nevertheless, the model is facing a number of constraints and drawbacks that must be removed to enable PTI to continue accomplishing the mission of ECDL development in Poland. The existing model does not meet the quality requirements, which the ECDL Foundation will now enforce more rigorously than it has so far.
Considering the volumes of certification, the present model is also logistically ineffective and requires enormous effort to handle.
