Polish ECDL Office

A subunit of PTI General Board Office, whose purpose is to handle ECDL activity in Poland. Its responsibilities include:

• Cooperation with ECDL Foundation,

• Managing the certification process on a national scale (defining rules and detailed procedures for the ECDL model, implementation of the model, establishing and certifying the Examination Centres, establishing and certifying the ECDL Laboratories, appointing and training the examiners, appointing and training ECDL Regional Coordinators, and working with the established units),

  ---

• Performing quality assurance for the certification process,

  ---

• Marketing and PR on a national level, including collaboration with public administration (namely central government), Ministry of National Education, institutions handling EU funds, education system, academic circles, etc.,

  ---

• Financial settlements with subordinate units: ECs, ECDL LABs, EDU LABs, RCs, and PCs,

  ---

• Ensuring that the issue of ECDL Skills Cards and certificates is arranged,

  ---

• Launching new products of the ECDL Foundation.
