Examiners

Examinations may be administered by authorised examiners trained by PTI only. All Examiners are contracted by Examination Centres and accountable for examining and grading exam papers. Training for examiners is organised by local PTI units (Branches and Circles) in cooperation with the Polish ECDL Office. An Examiner is certified separately for every ECDL certification programme. PTI signs an agreement with every Examiner to set forth the rights and responsibilities of the parties.

The agreements include the following clauses:

• the Examiner´s obligation to comply with exam procedures,
• consent to assuming financial liability in case of gross negligence,
• a disclaimer exempting PTI of any liability resultant from the examinations.
