Regional Coordinators

The individuals that manage ECDL processes in a designated area of Poland, which is usually one voivodeship (province).

Responsibilities of Regional Coordinators include:

  • coordination of the certification process in local PTI units within a designated territory, i.e. a Region,
  • cooperation with ECs in the Region in terms of promotion, marketing and increasing the awareness of ECDL,
  • personal cooperation with examiners in the Region,
  • cooperation with centres applying for the status of an ECDL Examination Centre or ECDL Laboratory,
  • working with prospective examiners,
  • supporting the Centres in obtaining EU regional programmes,
  • cooperation with the Polish ECDL Office and the National ECDL Coordinator for Poland in the case of all-Poland projects done in the Region,
  • active marketing and promotion work in organisations impacting ECDL (public institutions and local governments),
  • making arrangements for audits in the Region.
